Emperors Wharf
The site historically housed Shepherd Engineering Works. They occupied two warehouses that were in a state of disrepair.
The concept for two new blocks allowed a view of the grade II listed 56 Skeldergate. Originally designed by John Carr the house is now part of Lady Anne Middletons Hotel. The West side of the river was historically warehousing servicing the river. The concept was to try and retain the warehouse feel whilst provide modern living accommodation.
The scheme consists of 48 apartments in two blocks either side of a raised deck. Under croft parking provided 115 spaces with lift access within a central core in each block.
