Vincent & Partners were appointed to explore the potential of a conversion of an existing basement area to a luxury apartment complex.
The proposals looked to provide two modern apartments suitable for family living.
The potential of the site was to maximise the outlook over the River Wharfe, which was provided via a number of punched openings into the existing façade, bringing light and idyllic views out onto the River Wharfe.
The scheme overcame challenging access issues, whilst ensuring that minimal disruption was caused to residents, working within the constraints of the existing structure, to deliver a high end finish in an enviable location.
The Vincent & Partners team submitted an application for planning consent in June 2018, and provided full architectural services, as well as project management and contract administration services.
