Planning Submitted for Hunmanby Community Centre
We are pleased to announce that our proposal for the refurbishment and extension of a thriving community centre, located within the North Yorkshire village of Hunmanby, has been formally submitted for planning.
Created as a school in the early 1900s, the building has long been a focal point of the community. The proposed scheme seeks to safeguard the community centre for future generations; improving thermal performance, restoring original heritage features and replacing later additions with extensions that respond more sensitively to the building’s character. Thoughtful spatial improvements seek to complement and expand upon the centre’s functionality. The proposed arrangement includes a new courtyard space for community use, a bespoke kitchen, dedicated storage, and a new Parish Council office.
Thanks to our clients Hunmanby Parish Council for their input and collaboration. We are hopeful of a positive response.
