16,000 square foot energy efficient head office building


Our client came to us with an idea to redevelop their existing office building to provide larger, high-quality, multifunctional workspaces. The extended and refurbished building would provide a new headquarters for their company and flexible office space for other businesses alongside meeting rooms for hire. 
 

About our client 
London Ebor Developments have been refurbishing existing homes and building new ones for over 35 years. They also develop commercial property in Yorkshire and in London. The company is a family business and has offices in the outskirts of York and in Parson’s Green in London. 
 

Our role
We secured planning consent, created building regulation drawings and oversaw the build on site. The 16,000 square foot building has achieved A rated energy performance certification, with modern insulation, eight electric car charging points, 200 solar panels and an air source heat pump. It was completed in 2022 and officially opened by the Lord Mayor of York.
