York School of Architecture

Last Thursday evening we attended the end-of-year exhibition at the new York School of Architecture, showcasing the first-year work from the school’s inaugural intake of students.

It was great to see the enthusiasm and creativity within the next generation of aspiring architects on show - mixing hand-drawn techniques alongside 2D CAD representation, 3D & AI visuals, impressive model-making skills and contemporary design responses to project briefs set within the historic York context. 

Recognising the work of the students with a series of awards was a nice touch and it was great to see the development of a flourishing architectural community around the school.

We look forward to the coming years as the school continues to expand!
