We're looking forward to the York Sports Lunch tomorrow!

This year's guest speaker is legendary former All Blacks captain Richie McCaw, who joins an impressive list of sporting greats to have supported the event over the years.

Pictured here are this year's speaker Richie McCaw (148 caps) and last year's speaker Andrew Mehrtens (70 caps) – an incredible 218 All Blacks caps between them – signing a rugby shirt!

Now in its 22nd year, the lunch has become a firm fixture in York's business and sporting calendar, bringing together hundreds of people from across the city and wider Yorkshire region.

But perhaps the most important aspect of the event is the fantastic fundraising it achieves. Over the years, Sporting Connexions has raised hundreds of thousands of pounds for local charities and worthy causes, supporting organisations including St Leonard's Hospice, The Island, SASH and many others.

It's a great example of York's business community coming together, not only to build relationships but to make a genuine difference to the city and the people who live here.

We're proud to play a small part in supporting the event and look forward to catching up with clients, colleagues and friends tomorrow.

Congratulations to Mark Pepper and everyone involved in Sporting Connexions LTD for their continued commitment to York and its communities.

If you're attending tomorrow, do come over and say hello to the Vincent & Partners team – it would be great to catch up!
