Practical Completion - Trinity House, Harrogate

We're very happy to have achieved Practical Completion on two new homes in Harrogate off The Oval, adjoining the Grade II Listed Trinity Methodist Church and Trinity Church House. 

The scheme involves partial demolition and façade retention of the former schoolhouse to create two new homes, designed with flexibility to accommodate the senior living market.

The design was developed to respect and compliment the character of the gothic style Trinity Methodist Church and Trinity Church House, which bookend the site.

It's both challenging and rewarding to deliver important heritage projects such as these, with plenty of surprises to overcome on site.

Working with a careful and diligent team including Hillgate Construction, Yorkshire Heritage Consultants, and AFA Consulting Engineers, the process of revealing, repairing and adapting the historic fabric to ensure that the heritage of the building and setting can be enjoyed for future generations to come has been a fascinating one.
