Grade II Listed Victorian Villa submitted for Listing Building Consent

Vincent & Partners are pleased to announce the recent submission of the planning and listed building consent applications for an impressive property.

This Grade II listed villa was built in 1848 for a York solicitor and his family, together with attached servants’ quarters and a neighbouring detached stable block. Over the years, the estate was subdivided into four separate residential units.

The brief was to restore the property into a single, prominent family residence, while converting the detached stable block into a dwelling for family members. Vincent & Partners were also instructed as interior designers, creating stylish living spaces while remaining sympathetic to the building’s historic character.

The project seeks to reunite the Victorian Villa as one distinguished home, and it has been a pleasure to work closely with the client and their family throughout the process.
